November is not even halfway over and it’s already been a jam-packed, eventful month. For example, we’ve got kind of a big secret we’ve been holding on to for this month: both of Brookline’s November releases have hit warehouse shelves early!
If you were looking to get your hands on either Mystery and Marvel or Adventures in Theater History: Philadelphia later this month, then continue reading on to find out how you can get ahold of early copies of these books for 25% off.
The Mysterious Marvels of the 1876 Exposition
One of our November books is the long-awaited Mystery and Marvel by John H. Hepp, IV, who takes readers along to explore the marvels of America’s first world’s fair that took place in Philadelphia during the 1876 centennial.
Using narratives from fair-goers, Mystery and Marvel examines the technological enthusiasm of Victorian society at Philadelphia’s World’s Fair and the resulting transition from agricultural republic to industrial empire.
John Henry Hepp, IV is professor emeritus of history at Wilkes University and was born and raised in the greater Philadelphia area. He’s always had an interested in the Centennial since childhood, when his grandparents would tell him stories of the fair when they drove through Fairmount Park.
You can still order Mystery and Marvel for its preorder discount of 25% off using offer code 25HEPP when you order through Brookline Books!
